Make A Medallion Card

Make A Medallion Card is one of 4 cards in April 2017 Girls Morning Out.  It uses the Sale A Bration; Make A Medallion Stamp Set with Calypso Coral, Peek A Boo Peach and Bermuda Bay.

 

What you will need

Cardstock (CS) and Paper

  • Peek A Boo Peach CS

  • Bermuda Bay CS

  • Calypso Coral CS

  • Whisper White CS

Inks

  • Peek A Boo Peach Classic Stampin' Pad

  • Calypso Cora Classic Stampin' Pad

  • Bermuda Bay Classic Stampin' Pad

  • VersaMark

Step by Step Instructions

Featured
Whisper White Stamped Layer
Whisper White Stamped Layer

Cut this layer to 3 3/4 in w x 5 in h.

Stamp your Medallion images.

I used Whisper White CS with Peek A Boo Peach and Calypso Coral ink here.

(Tip:  Stamp the medallion with the flourish image in the center first, then layer the scalloped circle image over the top.  I found it was easier to line up in this order.)

Card Base

Cut your card base to 11 in w x 4 1/4 in h.

I used Peek A Boo Peach CS here.

 

Bermuda Bay Layer

Cut this first layer to 4 in w x 5 1/4 in h.

I used Bermuda Bay CS here.

Inside Layer
Inside Layer

Cut your inside layer to  4 in w x 5 1/4 in h.

Stamp your greeting and desired design.

I used Whisper White CS with Peek A Boo Peach and Calypso Coral ink here.

Stamp your medallion.

I used Bermuda Bay, Peek A Boo Peach, and Calypso Coral ink on Whisper White CS.

Cut using Layering Circles Framelits Dies.  Cut the scallop image from Calypso Coral CS.

(Tip:  You can emboss part of the medallion by inking your stamp with VersaMark, then inking it with desired color and Clear Embossing Powder.)

The center medallion image is embossed.  The best way to achieve this is to ink your stamp with VersaMark then immediately add Bermuda Bay Classic Stampin' Pad, stamp your image, then sprinkle Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder over it.  Use your Heat Tool to emboss the image.
