Special Reason Card — Creative Joy Stamping

This card made with the Special Reason Bundle is one of four cards made for April 2017 Girls Morning Out. It uses the Falling in Love Designer Series Paper, and it's color palette.

Step by Step Instructions

Featured

Card Base

Cut your card base to 5 1/2 in w x 8 1/2 in h.

I used Sweet Sugarplum CS.

Sahara Sand Layer

Cut this layer to 4 in w x 5 1/4 in h.

I used Sahara Sand CS.

DSP Layer

Cut DSP layer to 3 3/4 in w x 5 in h.

I used Falling in Love DSP.

(Tip: Make sure your patterns are flowing in the correct direction.)

Soft Sky Layer

Cut this layer to 3 in x 3 in.

I used Soft Sky CS.

Very Vanilla Layer

Cut this layer to 2 7/8 in x 2 7/8 in.

I used Very Vanilla CS.

All Outside Layers

Sponge the edges of all the layers with Sweet Sugarplum ink.

(TIP: Adhere the Very Vanilla CS and the Soft Sky CS together, then run the two layers together through the big shot to cut the flower image.)

Greeting Layer

Stamp your greeting on a piece of scrap Very Vanilla CS using Sweet Sugarplum ink.

Punch using the Classic Label Punch.

Cut a piece of the lace image of Falling in Love DSP to 3 3/4 in w x 1/2 in h.

Sponge the edges of both layers with Sweet Sugarplum ink.

Inside Layer

Cut Very Vanilla CS to 4 in w x 5 1/4 in h.

Stamp inside greeting and desired images. Sponge the edges. I used Sweet Sugarplum, Blush Blossom, and Soft Sky inks on Very Vanilla CS.

Special Reason Final Card

Assemble accordingly.

(TIP: Adhere your DSP layer to your Sahara Sand layer. Adhere your lace DSP layer for the greeting to the front of the DSP layer. Adhere your Sweet Sugarplum Ruched Ribbon to these layers before attaching them to the base. Adhere the greeting to the ribbon with Stampin' Dimensionals.)
